A Major Gold System Neighboring
Kodiak’s Golden Mile

The Foisey Gold Project is another of Mantis’ signature properties and is 100% owned by Mantis. The Foisey Gold System has demonstrated that it is a significant gold structure collectively exceeding 80-meters in drill width and contains gold concentrations ranging from anomalous to high grade.

The Foisey gold project includes 3-claims covering 192-hectares which encompass the Foisey Gold Structure. The structure hosts a potentially significant gold environment and like Kodiak’s Golden Mile and Yellow Brick Road the gold zone is a northwest trending feature spatially associated with southeastern margins of an intrusion - the Kaby Lake stock at Foisey and the Elmhirst Lake pluton at the Golden Mile and Yellow Brick Road. The Foisey project shares a common east claim boundary with the Orphan Gold Mine property.

In 2008, Mantis completed a limited drill program consisting of eight holes totaling 1,483-meters.The program was designed to test an IP resistivity feature, which highlighted the structure along a 1,000-meter length as resistivity low within the Kaby Lake stock. The drilling program confirmed the existence of the structure which was explored at a 75-meter vertical depth along a 650-meter strike length. The

drilling indicated that the Foisey gold system is a complex multi-zoned gold structure, trending northwest, characterized by intense hematite alteration, 1- 3% disseminated pyrite, multiphase quartz veining resulting in an open breccia framework which incorporated intrusive and meta-volcanic inclusions in a zone of intense silicification and localized crush faulting. Essentially, the structure can be segmented into three zones.

An upper zone defined by a fault structure of crushed rock, quartz veining and clay averaging 42-meters in drill width, containing variably anomalous gold values up to 3.20 grams per tonne. This zone is a strong structure that has been inundated by mutli-phase quartz veining and exhibits a history of complex overprinting alterations, which affected the host rock over the entire width of the zone.

A middle zone of variably altered and quartz veined quartz-diorite averaging 32-meters in drill width, containing 1-3% disseminated pyrite with anomalous values up to 0.298 gpt.

A lower zone characterized by intense silicification and massive grey quartz flooding. In the six drill holes in which this zone was penetrated, it averaged 5.55-meters in drill width and contains an average gold content of 0.56 grams per tonne. The highest gold value attained within the zone was 1.31 gpt.

Historically, the Foisey Gold Structure was identified from trenching programs to contain elevated gold zones yielding gold values greater than 3.0 gpt from numerous channel cuts, and from grab samples values as high as 28.79 gpt have been reported. Mantis’ trenching program in 2007 confirmed that significant gold grades are associated with the structure. A 0.5 meter channel sample returned a result of 12.75 gpt gold.

The property is located, in northwestern Ontario approximately 230-kilometers northeast of Thunder Bay and 50-kilometers west of Geraldton, in Rickaby township. Geologically, the property is situated in the southern portion of the Onaman-Tashota belt, historically included with the Beardmore-Geraldton greenstone belt which generated over 4-million ounces of gold from 19-producing mines.

The Foisey Gold Structure is open at depth, along strike to the southeast, and beyond its bifurcation where it branches and assumes a north trend as well. The system as a whole remains to be thoroughly explored and Mantis is scheduling to drill the structure during the winter drill season of 2009-2010.
